How can the hygienity be warranted when tattoing? When you decide to get a tattoo, of course first of all you pay attention to the sterility level of this job. Actually the knowledge and consciousness of the tattoist about the subject is much more important than the available equipments and disinfectatnts used for sterilization. May a disease be smeared from man to man during tattoing? There is a risk of contagion during tattoo operation, like all any other health clinics. However this risk can be eliminated by the right sterilization of the equipments used for tattoing, and also by using the disposable, single usage equipments. Thanks to contemporary tattoing sector is very much developed, there are special disposable needles and machine tips are available for single use; as we are very strict to use such disposable, single use equipments in our studio kind of preperations should be done before tattoing? Surely you must take a shower before coming here for getting a tattoo. The main reason for that is, because you are not supposed to do it for several days after tattoed. We also suggest you to make a minimum research on the figure you want as tattoo, and designate the part of the body where it will be applied. These will definitely help both yourself and tattoist for a much easier start. Yes, it hurts when tattoing, but it’s impossible to describe the measure of such a pain, because it depends on the personal power of endurance. As it doesn’t hurt somebody, it hurts a little for somebody else; nay it hurts very much for others. For our part, nobody has given up tattoing because of pain until now in our studio, but there were someone who told “it hurts very much”. Which parts of the body do sting most when tattoing? Most sensitive parts of the body are the parts where the nerve endings are accumulated more and get closer to the surface, therefore such parts are the most algesia against tattoo. For example, top hands and feet, fingers, groins, elbows, knees, inside of biceps, etc. Less hurting parts are generally outer-upper arms, and similiar coarse parts of the body. May any allergic reaction happen out of tattoing? We haven’t experienced such an allergic reaction out of tattoo until now. However it doesn’t guarantee that it will never happen for anybody in the future. What kind of dyestuff are used for tattoing? Because such dyestuff aren’t made in Turkey yet, we use pigments imported from EU or USA, where such dyestuff are manufactured under licence controlled by the relevant ministries; they are all approved as conforming for tattoing purpose and are free from side-effects for human body. Is a new needle used for each time for every one when tattoing? When applying a tattoo, needles and pigment containers must be disposable and particular for each and every client; machine tips must be stainless steel and properly sterilized; or machine tips may also be made of plastic and disposable for single use. Is it possible to remove a tattoo from the skin? It is possible nowadays by laser. But our advice is, please don’t get a tattoo which you will probably want to remove later, because removing it is much more expensive and painful than tattoing. Is it possible to remove a tattoo from the skin? It is mostly possible to cover a poorly done tattoo. What we mean by “covering” is not hiding it with light colors. We cover such an ex-tattoo with a new model formed by using the same traces, colors and the stains of the original one, as much as possible. It can’t be covered by any ordinary figure, but a completely new figure – to be strong enough and in the required size - must be designed to cover the original. In our studio, we always create an original new model to cover each of such ex-tattoos. Please click to see the videos. Is it possible to cover scars, scorches, operation marks, etc. with a tattoo? We’ve done such works many times, usually resulted satisfactorily. You can pick up a video of our work when we were covering a huge scorch, from the homepage. However we must state that, it is impossible to cover such scars completely; what we do here is to camouflage. Is there any unfavorable situations for tattoing?
Which criterias must be considered when prefering a tattoo model? First of all, the tattoo you want to get doesn’t have to symbolize anything special; for example lover names, team logos, political symbols, etc. may bring contrition in the future. Tendencies may change in time, and in that case one may feel unwell with such a atattoo. Most people want to get rid of it by removing or covering. Nowadays the tattoo is out of such conception; it can be anything that stands aesthetical. Whatever it is, you are the one who must decide. Therefore you must examine the modeling subject very carefully before getting a tattoo on your body. Is there a minimum age requirement for the one who wants to get a tattoo? A client must be minimum 18 years old, otherwise he/she has to accompany by his/her parents. We recommend to ones under age 16 not to get tattoo, because they are still in the growth era; their bodies and minds quickly changes. At least two days one should keep away from water after tattoed. No swim, no shower, no bath. The reason is, even low, there is a risk of contamination in the water, which may cause infection on the tattoed skin. How must an after-tattoo care be taken, and how long? After application care is most important process. The client has to spread the emulsion which the tattoist suggested, on the tattoed surface for 10-15 days until the wound phase completely healed; the tattoed surface shouldn’t be let dry during that phase.. Does the color of tattoo fade away? It is inevitable unless taking good care after tattoed. Also the structure of the skin is a determining factor ; as tattoo is made under the skin, the strength of colors may differ according to the structure (translucency, paleness, brightness) of the skin. It is impossible to observe that fact without making a tattoo on the skin. Does the color of tattoo turn into green? Actually what is seen is grey rather than green, yet it’s mostly defined as green. Tattoos which are poorly cared or amateurishly made of regular pen ink or Chinese ink, look greenish. In order to avoid having such a bad tatto, 1 – you have to get it made by a proffessional who use materials specially made for tattoing, and 2 – you have to take good care after it was made. It is actually a henna decoration. It is not true to define it as “tattoo”. It is made by painting the surface of the skin with henna, then washing after 2-3 hours. Basically it’s the painting of the dead skin cells on the skin surface. Then it wears of in several days. In some beauty parlors, some different techniques are said to be practised where they claim that the temporary make-up dyestuff implemented under the skin may disappear in 3-5 years by diffusion. Any proffessional tattoist never applies such an unmeritorious technique, but someone elses who have commercial expectations may do it. We deem that it is a kind of trend, but it’s not a guaranty that if we can find the companies selling that sort of dyestuff, or to find the “tattoists” doing that kind of jobs, after a couple of years. How long does a temporary tattoo exist on the skin? In spite of the fact that it differs person to person, but generally it lasts around 10-15 days. As long as the skin cells are renewed, the henna color wears off. What must be considered when applying a temporary tattoo? Obviously henna is known as allergic for some people. It is impossible to know whether it’s allergic for you or not, unless you have never had it before. That’s why you must risk it. On which part of the body does a temporary tattoo stay more effective? In order to avoid the risk of allergy, it’s much better to be done especially around hands and feet. We’ve never experienced, nor reported any allergy case for the henna done on these parts of the body. Is a temporary tattoo allergic?? It is black Indian henna. It may cause an allergy for a very few people a couple of days after the application. The hennaed part itches as the basic allergic reaction. In such a case it must be treated by an anti-allergic pomade. Do abstain from scratching. What are the factors make a temporary tattoo fade away quickly? Especially washing it shortly after the application. What is the difference between temporary and permanent tattoos? Permanent tattoo is made by injecting the pigment under the skin by a needle, whereas temporary tattoo is made by painting the skin surface by henna. Permanent tatto lasts life time, temporary tattoo disappears in 10-15 days. Whic figures are being applied in temporary tattoos? Mostly the figures without light shades, having more rough strokes comparing to permanent tattoo. They are mostly chosen from the Indian style ornamentation designs. Does it hurt when applying a temporary tattoo? No way! It’s just painting the skin surface with henna. Is temporary tattoo prohibited by the religion? It is even out of discussion, because it’s only a henna application on the surface of the skin. Besides, henna is sed by muslim societies, especially in our society all over traditionally. Is there any kind of tattoo which is said to be lasted for several years? We can confirm the existance of such a tattoo only if we witness such a tattoo vanished after several years, which is said to be lasted for several years. Piercing is a kind of body art or a way of personal self-expression, by putting on needles or rings on the certain parts of the body, by piercing the skin, or the fat layer underneath, or the cartilage. How is a piercing applied on the body? There are various boring equipments for different kind of piercings. It is also very important to keep them well disinfected. Otherwise they may cause infection. Once a piercing put on, it shouldn’t be taken off for several weeks, otherwise the risk of infection increases. On which parts of the body is a piercing applied? Does piercing cause any disease? How can the hygienity be warranted when applying a piercing? How must the after-piercing care be taken? |
